Aint heard of any particular reason......think the agreement's run its time.
And yeah one more year of access before it's gone, even though the land is open pasture....so if you wanna take your own herd up there to graze then you'll be sorted.

I'll look into it then....I read the about the closure date in the Derbyshire Times and the Matlock Mockery, sorry Mercury, last year.

The footpath was still open today (12.12.11) and there were no signs up there that it might be closing.
