Winter Solstice 'Secret Stone Circle' visit

The council are inviting you to 'soak up at the atmosphere at a well hidden stone circle as the daylight of the shortest day fades' on Sunday 21st December.

You must book in advance by telephoning 01771 622857 and will meet at Drinnies Wood car park, near Fetterangus.

Which of course gives away which circle it is - if you don't want to know, look away now.......

Sure?

Loudon Wood - so if you don't want to book, meet them there ;-)

That's the truth!!! I can just see the guide marching up and down the long grass, muttering "It's around here somewhere!" Chris Posted by Chris

Yeah, totally agree. I was at Loudon in May and put away me map upon seeing the sign at White Cow car park... needless to say was sent in completely the wrong direction. To be honest it's bizarre how the council can get it so wrong in this instance when otherwise they are to be applauded for general awareness and conservation in the area?

Great site, too.

Cynical me surely not! I'd never slag the beloved council! Are you going Chris? drewbhoy Posted by drewbhoy

Might do, though I might 'meet them there' ;-)

Be hilarious if the guided group met 20 of us already at the 'secret' circle. (I know, I'm being mean spirited).
