Iron Age defended settlement. The sire lies in forest and is partially cut through by Moorlaw Drive. Two ditches and ramparts surround a circular enclosure approx 50m across, the enclosure lies at the end of a promontory overlooking the River Aln. There appears to be an entrance on the eastern side with a causeway across the ditches.
