The real digging started in May 2009. It was a most extraordinary dig which I had the great fortune to take part in. The stuff was jumping out of the ground at times. The site was finally wrapped up in August. There is an exhibition of the finds at Moat Park Heritage Centre in Biggar which will be there for all to see until the end of 2010.
