I haven't been on this site since 2004, but tried to spearhead some interest in this particular site back then. I agree with the things that Chris said above. This is an extremely important megalithic structure, especially for this area. My first experience of "the Giant's Quoit" was in 1987, some 22 years ago and on a sunny day, my good mother took us all on an historic journey of the local area, and in my future oppinion it doesn't really get better than this amazing and solid communication with the past. The photos i took back then didn't really seem that relevent, but I have an awful lot more knowledge now and have continued to reasearch this ground for many years. It holds many secrets, as i'm sure you know.
