The Farmer whose land it is on says the field has always been known as Gigmagog's field, although has never known the identity of Gigmagog.

Hi there! Pushing it a bit perhaps, and mebbe stating a bit of the obvious, but has anyone found an etymological relationship with the renowned 'GogMagog' site (and all it's legends) in Cambridgeshire? Probably not - but the name seems to say it all. Cheers - Paul	Posted by Paulus 29th May 2007ce
