Lovely, a "bit breezy" indeed! I meant to tell you to stay on the left side of the wall up from Bwlch y Rhiwgyr, but it looks like you did that anyway (there is a path up on the other side too, but it runs into several hard to climb drystone walls). thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Well, for once I'd actually looked at the map pretty closely and had sussed that. According to the farmer, many of the walls which used to exist are no longer in repair. Assume those are lower level, though GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

By the time I got here I was getting pretty tired after the walk from Dyffryn Ardudwy, or I might have paid better attention - the path up from the bwlch on the right-hand side was clear on the ground, so I anticipated (wrongly) that there would be gates or stiles.
