Standing Stone / Menhir
Maen Llia (Standing Stone / Menhir) by cerrig View from the East, showing Maen Llia on its platform. The solstice midday shadow length is a little less than 60 feet long today, when the stone was set up it would have been over 100 feet long.
The stone is shaped and set up like a horizontal sundial so it points to the North celestial pole.
