The hill with the four forestry windbreaks and the forestry plantationed hill to its left in this photo, form a perfect "V-Shaped" frame for Tinto and its summit cairn when viewed travelling North on the A702 after Abington Services and just before where the Duneaton Water merges with the mighty Clyde. I'll illustrate this the next time I pass...

The circular slab is the old mount for the 360 degree viewfinder plaque thing. You can see it here.

Lightning strikes, gravity and some vandalism rendered it to its current condition.
