Interesting, Moss. His work is more abstract than Turner, not completely to my taste... however viewed as (arguably) an expressive combination of landscape rendering and emotional expression upon canvas I can see where he was coming from. It will probably grow on me. Particularly like the Rise of the Dovey one. Took something 'vaguely' similar recently which guess I should post having seen that. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

He did a whole series on Wales I think Gladman. His work sometimes reminds me of your rather beautiful dark austere photos of Wales, high up on the mountains...

Jane put this one up, and there is another of Pentre Ifan, think there are several examples on TMA.
