Barclodiad-y-Gawres (Chambered Cairn) by wiggo The entrance to the burial chamber pictured on a windy day in 2002. This was the second time that I had visited this spectacular location, the first being back in '95 when I decided to take my new (then) girlfriend on a trip round some of the ancient sites in Anglesey. At that time we managed to borrow the key and enter the chamber. The carved stones are excellent and the atmosphere inside the albeit reconstructed chamber is fantastic.
