Yes it does. Many of the circles sit in locations where there is just no higher ground from which to view them. Holding the camera aloft with the monopod produces some surprisingly good results (and some dud shots because targeting precisely is a bit of a lottery). LesHamilton Posted by LesHamilton

After reading your notes for Cairnfauld last year I was inspired to give it a go. Took a few photos at Binghill with my camera aloft, attached to my walking pole using a gorillapod. Results not great but it was fun trying. thelonious Posted by thelonious
