Visited 16.6.12 Just up the road from Elsie the Greater stone circle. Also visible from the road and also appears to have been built on a slight mound The rain kept a’ coming down! There are 3 stones standing and you will need to navigate a wall and barbed wire fence if you want to go in a straight line! Although the site is overgrown it is worth a look when visiting the other two stone circles in the area. There can’t be many places with 3 stone circles in such a small area. Must have been an important place in ancient times?
