The Steyning Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir) by A R Cane This will probably end up on the 'disputed antiquity' list, but this is reputedly the stone that gives Steyning it's name. There's very little known about it but one end is apparently more worn than the other, suggesting it once stood erect. It now resides in the porch of St. Andrews Church.
