Gortyleahy Stone Row / Alignment View all content for Gortyleahy

This stone row is less than a km from the Carriganine stone circle. It is just to the side of a house in a field and is difficult to see from the road. Its a lovely 3 stone alignment, the stones are about 1.2m high. The middle stone has an unusual depression in it, looks a bit like on the standing stone at the circle of Knocknakilla. To top it all off the row seems to be lining up with a hill off in the distance, Im not sure exactly which one but i think it could be Douce Mountain.
