Loch Awe Crannog View all content for Loch Awe

After leaving the chamber cairn at Ledmore/Lyne we headed back north but before it became dark decided to stop at the north end of Loch Awe as I'd spotted what I thought was a crannog a couple of days before. The crannog is 15m wide and 1m high, from the layby I couldn't spot a causeway. What I also didn't know was that there was another crannog some 200m to the south. Another visit required here as well. Roll on next October. Visited 15/10/2020.
