A hillfort in Aberdeenshire is one of the largest ancient settlements ever discovered in Scotland, researchers have said.

I've just read about this in the P&J. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/aberdeenshire/2203375/revealed-scotlands-largest-pictish-settlement-was-in-aberdeenshire/ I've been up there more times than I can remember, and never dreamed it was a community on this scale.
