Strontoiller Cairn Cairn(s) View all content for Strontoiller Cairn

The RCAHMS record describes this as a possible cairn, sited approximately 75 metres south west of the stone circle on the summit of a low rocky spur. The cairn is, about 18.3 metres in diameter and 1.7 metres in height and has been subject to extensive stone robbing to provide material for adjacent field walls. Apparantly one of the remaining stones is earthfast, suggesting that this may have originally been a kerbed cairn.
