Mynydd Llangynderyrn Burial Chambers

Burial Chamber

A pair of neolithic chambers – one collapsed – forming but a part of the incredible complex of prehistoric monuments upon this mountain, ravaged by quarrying upon its northern flank. Garreg Lwyd

Round Cairn

Wales

Country

A selection of (mostly) Bronze Age upland cairns to be found under 2,000ft in that wondrous country know as ‘Wales’. They said it couldn’t be done. Hey, but The Citizen Cairn laughs in the face of adversity.

Citizen Cairn’s somewhat random selection of those enigmatic ‘old piles of stone’. Guaranteed not to have included your favourite. Sorry about that :-)
