Ah yes, met this stone on my first ever trip to the Forest of Dean in summer this year - wonderful place. I understand you walked through the forest to find the stone (rather than going by road) - lovely pics.
Thanks June, yes I walked from Christchurch (not far). I really liked the stone, despite its proximity to the road. I think the beautiful weather helped though.
Lovely stone that looks kind of magical amongst all those ferns and trees. A very nice photo and composition - makes me want to visit it one day.
Thanks very much Angie - the trick with this stone is to ignore the main road thundering past two yards out of shot, but still a worthy spot to visit.
