I've never been here, but was always under the impression there was nothing to see! I know it's mostly *just* a mound, but the stones are intriguing. Wonder if they *are* part of the original construction?
Yes, that's what I thought - this was our first visit there too and I'd only really seen the b+w pic in Craig Weatherhill's Belerion, which looked as though the chamber was buried and ploughed out. In fact it's largely still intact, but with some additional stones (or at least out of place ones). The rubble blocking the entrance to the chamber may be part of the mound material(?) and the capstone and supporting orthostats are still pretty impressive. Worthy of a visit, definitely.
