17/10/2018 – Bennachie – Astronomical Twilight. Looking over to Mither Tap from Oxen Craig. The glow in the far distance is from Aberdeen. Different feel to the hill at this time. Not a sound to be heard. I like the dark. Clear sky this evening, many stars, Milky Way and a shiny half moon. Starting to get a little cold now.
What a beautiful photo. The only time I climbed Mither Tap the mist and fog descended and I could see barely 50 yards so I've always wondered what the view must be like on a clear day (or night).
That's quite superb.
Thank you both :-)
It's my run away to place, I think we all need one now and again.
Spellbinding.
Hope you got down OK in the dark ! !
Thanks Les, that's kind. Always got a head torch with me, handy for dark hills and chambered cairns :-)
Nice on Ts, brilliant stuff, hope you took some looking north east :-)
