
This picture is ‘borrowed’ from the faded and slightly mouldy notice board at Meini Gwyr. The illustration isn’t clearly labelled so I inferred from the text that it was drawn in the 17th Century by Edward Lhudy. It turns out it’s actually by William Stukeley.
The text in the circle reads,“Meineir Gwyr, Carmardynshire”, and the text at the bottom of the picture reads, “Two more stones standing 100 paces distant this way” (presumably a reference to Yr Allor).
