A very powerful enclosure, this.... as far as I could tell multivallate except to the south, where the slope took care of matters anyway.

It's a great fort isn't it? Another one deserving of being better known.
Wonderful..... bit too large, actually. Absolutely knackered trying to do the full circuit of the inner bank, forcing my way through the undergrowth. Worth it, though.
