Missed this one last time as I was under the impression it was a 'show site' for tourists, can see it is in fact a very interesting its own right (Also from reading LH's fieldnotes). Anyway, you have made my mind up I am going to load the van up this weekend and rectify the wrong (I will tell my wife it's this guy from Germany, its his fault!)

Well I just got back and can say it was a great visit, managed to see most of the Hunebedden that I missed on my first trip over there, and of course D49. I wont repeat all of your photo's, however, if I have captured anything different I will put them up. So thanks, you gave me the inspiration to get back up there and a huge thanks also to MR H for his wonderful field notes and advice on how to get to some of them, certainly saved me falling foul of the turf farmers.
