I know very little of the fens, a couple of visits to Seahenge and Sutton Hoo and a landscape that was flat. But Francis Pryor is a busy person, writes detective novels as well, farms on a very small scale and then again is an archaeologist.

I am glad that his radio programme was acknowledged by all of you, of course the fens, and the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex are rather devoid of prehistory for geological reasons - not much stone, but when you come to such places as Bartlow Hills, (I know is Roman but still) you can still wonder in amazement.
And also remember Boudicca of course, East Anglian tribe that wrought such havoc on the intruders.....
