Hi. I'm in the process of researching and writing a piece of contemporary classical music about the Wilmington Giant. I'm slightly overwhelmed by the amount of interest the project has stirred but I'm particularly enjoying reading how the Long Man still has an influence over so many people today.

If you're interested, I'll be talking about giving the Long Man a voice on the BBC breakfast show tomorrow (Sunday 17th Feb), catch it here https://bbc.in/2S6Fixx or see my website for more details here https://bit.ly/2SR345b. The project is also on twitter and instagram for those of you who dabble in that sort of thing, and you'll see some fascinating interactions from people across the UK for whom the Long Man means so much (@onwindoverhill).

Cheers!
Nathan
