Not really been to that many big sites this year. Mainly just walking the hills as the weather has been so good. Here are a few of my favourite sites that I’ve seen along the way.

My site of the year - Dun Hill Of Glenmore
Just a rock with a few cup marks on it in some random glen on Bute but it was a happy moment.

Surprise of the year - Cairnshee Woods
Just looked a quick bob up and down to the top of the hill. I was blown away with how big the cairn was and the location is very nice.

Revisit of the year - Allt Chrysal
To come here once was lucky, to revisit again this year – just fantastic. I love this place.

It’s not megalithic but I love it site of the year - Clach na Ban-righ
This big rock just made me smile and still does.

Site/fieldnotes/photos etc. posted on TMA that really makes me want to visit - Belas Knap
I really need to make the effort to visit this one. Hopefully 2019 :-)

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and that the new year is another good year for stones :-)
