The most logical answer for the question What was Stonehenge used for ? .
Simple to let the people know when it was time to perform there sacred cerimonies, how else would they know ?
thats right the shaman, high priest, what have you would inform the people.
But that is what is the most important thing of all about Stonehenge and that is that the people could see for them selves Truth and from there they began the spiritual self serch that we have all taken as a given but before stonehenge and many many places around the world that functioned in the same manor spirituality was do what the shaman says, but once truth be known then the road to a more intelligent knowlodgable human is the only way if one is forced into having to explaine why things are as they are, there are a great many truths and a great many different religions and belifes but it is pretty much a universal that all though we are all different with our own truths that we base our belifes on we all have come to the same belief that there is but one god,god speaks to man in mans own language god speaks to man in mans own understanding stonehenge is where man was given his spiritual freedom to find truth, thats pretty important ideas ,civilization may be the result of greater inteligence but greater inteligence is the result of spirituality, akenaten is an example of this spiritual revolution,
