According to the Chippenham paper there is a Scheduled Monument coming up for sale along with a small bluebell wood in Pewsey. No details given just that the agent was Woolley & Wallis that have offices in Salisbury and Marlborough.
Apart from the obvious TMA interest, one aspect of this sale that sprang to mind (as part of Marden henge was recently sold), is monuments becoming a feature of sale documents - I guess classically we might think up till now farmers thought them a hindrance and landowners thought them a pain - have we entered a new period with the monument the thing to buy ?
