Yes the New Inn at Winterbourne Monkton.
Seem to remember the bed was really comfy, the shower good and the breakfast was heartily enjoyed by my carnivorous companions.
You can walk along the busy road between there and avebury if you like, but its much more fun to take the long route by footpaths and the top of windmill hill.
I'd probably still never have made it up windmill hill if i hadnt stayed at the New Inn. It was a totally awesome experience to be up there on a clear moonlit night.
