It is excellent - must have been really exciting when you spotted it! But (JUST To Be Devil's Advocate) - how did he justify that it's 'genuine' and prehistoric? Could it not have been done with a ten p coin some time last year?? How soft is the stone out of interest? And if it was on the beach is there no possibility it was done by a burrowing scraping mollusc??
