Dear Eds,
A small (nay - miniscule!) point: we notice that the listings for sites on Southern Dartmoor, including the following:
http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/8537/butterdon_hill.html
http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/260/western_beacon.html
http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/7520/cuckoo_ball_chambered_tomb.html
http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/6163/corringdon_ball_long_barrow.html
have Rattery listed as their Nearest Town. Rattery is a small village about 6k's east of most of these sites, with a population of approx. 500, whereas the town of Ivybridge is a lot closer (generally about 2-3k south), and has a population of 12,500+ (2001 census).
