Just heard on the news that Stancliffe's application has been kicked out of the court of appeal.

Yee-haw!

Excellent - and here's the report http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/derbyshire/4103188.stm

Superb!

This is excellent news, however, as always I'd like to see the detail.

Bloody fantastic news. The Nine Ladies kick-started my interest in visiting ancient sites about 15 years ago, so I've always had a real soft spot for them.

That's great news. Couldn't quite believe what I was reading!

WTF does this bit mean tho:

National Park Authority chair of planning Narendra Bajaria said: "While we welcome the Court of Appeal's ruling, we now have to carefully consider the best way forward in the interests of protecting the National Park.

"The original planning permission remains valid, and we will have to specify working conditions for the quarries unless an alternative solution can be found."

Specifically "...we will have to specify working conditions for the quarries..."

???????????????????????????
