Gwass pointed this stone out to me tonight, it's 30 metres or so downhill from Doll tor, any ideas. ?

Oo I noticed that when I was there too. I was half tempted to go for a rummage in the undergrowth to see if there are more. Maybe an avenue leading back down the hill to some watersource or something?

On the other side of the field (off in the woods to the left of the Andle Stone) We found a stone that looks exactly like a cow (Specifically like Nandi, Lord Shivas escort.) We didnt want to move too much of the undergrowth but it really is uncanny! Guess there is quite a lot of stuff round there!

Yeah the plantation was put down over a romano-brit settlement called Thieves Den there stones relate to that.....
