English Heritage is urging as many people as possible to vote for Stonehenge to ensure it becomes one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

"Stonehenge represents something particularly special in our nation's history, " said Mr Carson.

But not special enough to warrant a special approach to it's problems, eh?

"Stonehenge represents something particularly special in our nation's history," said Mr Carson.
In an interview in yesterday's Guardian, Peter Carson, Stonehenge director for English Heritage, is quoted as saying, "My team and I are putting the final touches to our plans for the summer solstice celebrations at Stonehenge which begin on Wednesday night... I'll be there to make sure everything runs smoothly."

When asked where he would rather be, Mr Carson replies, "Machu Picchu in Peru." :-)

I wouldn't bother.
