I've printed and filed it for when we finally get up there (may not be till next year now - lots of shit going on at the moment which I won't bore you with)

S'OK Oci. Hope it's useful when you make it up there. If you stay at or near Penrith you could easily slot in Mayburgh and Gamelands too.

Oci, I did a similar quick shufty around the larger sites of Cumbria earlier this year, mainly the same sites as Moth but with variations. I don’t know if this will be any use to you but I started from near Penrith and arrived at Castlerigg about 9am and pretty much had the place to myself, then on to Blakeley Raise, Greycroft, Giant’s Grave, Sunkenkirk and Druids Circle by about 6pm without particularly rushing. From what you’ve said in the past you’re an early starter so Long/Little Meg and Mayburgh/King Arthur’s Round Table should be easily do-able too. Whichever you visit or whenever you go, I’m sure you’ll have a great time :-)
