Silbury hill has been damaged by crop circle nutters Bert Jansenn & Janet Ossebaard. They twice climbed into the hill, abseiling down with a rope and kicking the sides in as they went.

It seems that Bert + Janet have given areview copy of the video to local journalist Nigel Kerton at the Marlborough Gaz+herald.
Nigel Hates Croppies. Expect an acid story in the press any day now.
Any video bootleggers out there? :)

what idiots, please everyone tell them for their own sake before they end up stuck down the bottom, cos no dum fuckers gonna go down and get them out. maybe someone should e mail them pretending to be in support and see what they have to say for themselves and then come back and tell us. i cant beleive any one could be so stupid. I'm (finally) working at a dutch newspaper and we're trying to track these people down. They haven't responded to emails yet. I need to know the place where one of those terrorists lives. Let's hang 'em on the highest tree.

he says:
1) innit awful about Silbury
2) the video *might* have made EH do something about it
3) that he isn't responsible for the plucky explorers, even though he's flogging the video ...

Well I've talked to bert janssen. He's not the villain in this play. All he did wrong was ignore the no-entry sign and take pictures of guys abseiling into the shaft. HE DID NOT ENTER IT HIMSELF. He struck me as a bit wierd/funny but not dangerous. The guys who entered the shaft made the video recordings jan used in his documentary. The guy is pretty shaken up by the whole commotion he's caused. I am the first who asked for his side of the story...
