further to previous posts on the topic of Silbury hill climbing.....

Passing the Hill at 4.10pm today (Monday), I witnessed about 6 - 10 people climbing down the hill. We stopped in the car park and got my camera out to take piccies of some coming down (not v good quality- lots of zoom!). Also saw a coach in the car park waiting for said people. They boarded this coach, so I remonstrated with the driver for allowing his customers to climb the hill. He said it was nothing to do with him, speak to the lecturers.

At which point a rather angry woman said 'how was she supposed to control HER students?'! I reminded her of her responsibility and duty of care. She swore loudly at me. So I asked which College she was from - 'Not f*cking telling you' came the reply. At this point I guessed a local college, and a meak 'yes' was the reply.

Obviously I have no proof of where she came from - she may have been lying. However, I have some nice photos of the coach!

Ive not named the College here for obvious legal reasons, but if anyone from HA or whatever wish to complain officially (I will be as well), contact me here and Ill reply.

Thought Id post this as people here are so obvioulsy passionate about said hill climbing ;-0
