Silbury Rabbits

close

Pete's mention of rabbit traps being installed at Silbury prompts some fascinating questions.

Why are they being used, rather than the time honoured and efficient system of a local man with some ferrets? For reasons of kindness, perhaps?

Which begs the question, once detained, what is the ultimate fate of the fluffy little fellows? Will EH secretly appoint a state rabbit strangler, to go with the jester? Or will they simply let them go? In which case, where? Right next to the hill where they can swell the local population and burrow into the next convenient bit of archaeology? Or have they found a farmer somewhere who would welcome extra rabbits being released on his land?

which you won't get if HA keeps refusing to meet with EH.

The rabbits will starve in the box's unless they employ someone to collect them eveyday.
At the moment they are acting as open tunnels for any furry animal to access silbury as the turf on top of the mechanism, stops the traps working.
