Heritage Action "Fix the Hill" Protest

Heritage Action will shortly be announcing arrangements for it's Fix the Hill Week of Protest to take place in late May and culminating on Saturday 29th May (the 4th anniversary of the appearance of the hole).

Various events are planned and will be put on the net, and additionally there will be one highly unusual one that should have a big impact but which won't be pre-announced.

Well, I assume you mean it won't be announced. I mean, you have just pre-announced it by not actually announcing it directly, but announcing that it will happen but won't be announced, which isn't quite right is it? So, are you announcing now that something that you are not going to announce will happen unannounced? If so then surely that constitutes an announcement of the event even if details aren't forth coming .... it's like telling someone they'll have a surprise birthday party but they'll never guess when it will be.

I might be over that way in May. I might try and make the trip at the end of the month.
