After visiting the Bull Stone at Otley Chevin for the midsummer solstice, we noticed what may be the 'lost twin' of the Bull Stone, as mentioned in Paulus's fieldnotes.

Yeahhhh - I like the look of it Dave. The 1720 reference certainly describes a plurality of stones here. How big is it (calm down......I mean the stone...). Could we stand it back up with a bittov effort, for photo's sake?

PS - wot's its 8-figure grid reference? or which field is it in, in relation to the main Bull? (Paulus is gerrin excited!)

Well, it looks good enough to have been a standing stone! Nice spot.

It also looks like it broke in two when it fell. Shame.
