There are no recognised sunrise-sunset alignements at Avebury.
This is the last time the NT will allow overnight parking in their visiters car park.
A height barrier is going to be erected at the entrance in 2006 to stop campervans staying overnight.
The Tourist Information Center is closing in 2007 as is the small village shop and Post Office.
The Parish Council has allowed 28 days PA for camping (but no car parking) in a field halfway down the West Kennet avenue near to the remains of Falkners circle.
The National Trust have yet to confirm they will allow camping inside the WHS or not.

Tho if the weather stays like this we won't be able to see anything - which is a right spanner in the works for my plans too :o(
