While reading the paper on weds last i came across this letter send into the editor from a Mr. Joe Fenwick, Dept. of Archaeology, NUI Galway. "I was delighted to learn that the government, on foot of the IUCN/UNESCO report, have at last recognised the importance of Tara as a World Heritage Site and reversed the decision to build a major component of national infrastructure in the area...." and on it goes. Where have i been, when did all this happen, can anyone shed some light??
