Ive reading a book by Martin Brennan (Stones of Time i think), he mentions that there is an alignment at sunrise in the mound of the hostages in Tara. Anyone ever head up to see it. Think the cross quarter day is the 3rd of Feb but i might head up on the morn of the 4th.

Can't say I have heard of that,I'm sure if there
was,a lot more info about it would be out in the
public domain.

Still it would be something, let us know how you
get on. Hopefully the weather will not spoil your

There's a whole thread on this http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/forum/?thread=27481. Missed it at Samhain last year (bad weather) so might pop over too. Fourwinds did get photos of it though.

As far as i know the allignment on Imbolg (February 1). makes sense to mark the festival.
