Hill of Tara

Pagans

Can I just say how nice it was (for me anyway) to see the Hill of Tara on telly last night? Looks like a fantastic place... Can we go there?

It's just 44 minutes up the road from me :-) (tries not to look too smug!)

It is one of the most wonderful places, especially if you can get it to yourself (difficult in Summer). It is a 'must-see' place for all who venture to Ireland.

"Can we go there?"

Blimey Goff, your forthcoming holiday seems to be going exponential ;)

The Hill of Tara was great but the programme was shocking, very negative about pagans of all eras, in fact I thought it used the very word "pagan" as an insult. I am not a pagan but I like accurate broadcasting, they seemed to be very confident about who King Arthur was , when to my mind the finest brains in history (and that includes Tony Robinson) know very little about Arthur.

Nice pictures though!!!
