Cairn on Hampsfell, Lake District

Merry Christmas everybody:-)

Anyone know anything about the cairns marked on the OS map on Hampsfell, Lake District? Just near the Hospice on top. Guessing just modern but I couldn't find anything about them online.

What is the significance of the word "Hospice" - do you know? Also what on earth is the square building or construction (casting a very substantial shadow on the aerial view) with the series of geometric blobs around it in a square configuration shown here at the summit?

If it is a trig point it is a weird one.
