When walking up to the Oakenknowes cairn today, I walked on something called the Bowman's Road (NJ 53995435), which I was told was used by the Picts/Scots against the Danes. Therefore this would make it probably Iron Age. However in some Reigon sites it says it was a Drover's road. Anybody any clues? It is near to Knockhill and is just inside the Moray reigon.

Being a drover's road doesn't mean it wasnt also an older ancient trackway too, didn't many drover roads follow such ancient routes??
