Just enjoyed a peaceful post-Banksy trip to the Museum with the nipper, and discovered there are some great FREE lectures coming up over winter including Dr Tiffany Jenkins "Human Remains: objects to study or ancestors to bury?" on 9th Dec and Prof Ron Hutton on "The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles" (in advance of his forthcoming book "Britain's Pagan Heritage")on Feb 10th.

How strange, I was on holiday when you posted this and I took Ronald Hutton's book Witches, Druids and King Arthur (borrowed from library) to read on the train.

I live a 40 minute train ride from Bristol - the museum is central and a great venue for a lecture (I did manage to see the Banksy exhibition). Am definitely interested in attending, many thanks for the info.
