Dear darling TMA Eds, Sirs, or Madams,
Hows about this then guys and gals. Following on from Littlestones' Forum thread "Books of possible interest", would you consider a section on TMA, alongside the selections of "Forum", "Latest Posts", "Legends", etc., the header "Book Reviews"? I think it would be of interest to us all to hear opinions on all sorts of books relevent to the period covered by TMA. Perhaps this has been suggested already. If so, apologies, 'cos I must've missed it.
Regards,
TE.

Sounds good to me, but...
I think I'm correct in saying that the website is provided (ie paid for) by the publishers of the papery TMA/TME so they may not want folks advertising rival publishers products in such an open way. Just a guess.

It's a good idea Mr T, and would be a valuable reference for peeps interested in things megalithic. M'be not every book would have to be reviewed - just a mention of it with relevant links and a few comments perhaps. The tricky bit would be getting someone willing and able to get it sorted alphabetically. Be good though (for example Squid T's recent query for stuff on Stukeley) to be able to just enter a search word on author and get what you're looking for.

Problem is that when any book is mentioned, and there are only two left on Amazon such as 'Prehistoric Ritual and Religion' at £14.99. they disappear pretty fast and I'm left with the £24 option ;(

Sorry for the delay in replying.

It is an idea that has been touched on before, ages ago. Happily Holy is going to work on it. Watch this space but it may take some time.
